This is the time of the year if there is a break in the weather I run out the door like the house is on fire. The majority of my free time is spent at the vise working on stuff that has been in the back of my mind all season, filling my boxes so I have more time to fish when the weather is actually conducive, and improving patterns I've created in the past. It has to be something special to get me out of the house when it's in the teens. Maybe some hybrids busting bait balls at a warm water outlet might just do it. Here is a new color combo I've been playing with on Maddy's Minnow. Look for some new patterns to be on the site and some classics that we like to fish. This cold weather might give me a chance to get caught up with the website, unless there are some hybrids starting to show up.
