Eagan's Headstand

DSC_9473.JPG

The Headstand is one of the top producing carp patterns on our waters. The fly is simple but ingeniously designed. The hook point rides up and which keeps from a bunch of hang ups and is ideal for the carp given the orientation of their mouths. This is a slight variation from the original and they both catch fish. Don't be scared to substitute material. The steps and material list are below. Tie one on and hold on.
