Running out of the last few weeks of warmer weather, I decided I wasn't quit ready to put the bass rod up for the year. I have an experimental bass fly I've been wanting to give a shot. Fish are happier then they where last month water conditions better, fish where more then willing to chase and when the bucket mouths are chasing you can almost guarantee they're eating. I caught several bass but the nicest fish of the day was this crappie. Makes me want to get a few more carp to hand, before it cools off. Get out before you can't and wish you would have, the fishing is good.
Luke's Lot Lizard, the fly is basically a modified Single Bunny with a jig skirt added. The skirt gives the fly an erratic movement (it twitches as much as a lot lizard on a handful of Adderall) in the water and when wet the fly stays about 2 feet below the surface, making it kind of awesome being able to see the takes. I also added the instructions to the Bass fly page.
