We've been throwing frogs a bunch this summer, for a couple different reasons. Bass love them and they've been really productive early and late. Two they're fun to fish, nothing like seeing a bass come out of no where and crush one on the surface. We've got a little experiment going on deer hair frog which takes about 2 hours to tie versus this frog which you can tie in under 10 minutes. The deer hair frogs are lot cooler to look at but we're looking at productivity and the time it takes filling the box. We're still experimenting but right now it's about dead even. Steps by steps are up on the bass fly page and here's the link.
