Material: Gamakatsu B10S sz 1, UTC 140 thread, 3/8 foam cylinder, 6mm plastic eyes, EP fibers, Krystal flash, Prismacolor marker, super glue
Attach the UTC 140 thread
Add a small clump of EP fibers for your tail
Add 3-4 strands of Krystal flash, whip finish and put your foam body on. Prepping the cylinder cut a few mm behind the head side and make a line down the center of the foam about half the depth of the cylinder cut the front of the cylinder off at an angle slopping down. the next pictures should explain it more. Place glue on the top side of the hook.
Stretch the cut out as wide as you can and press it down on to the hook. Glue sticks to the foam extremely well so widening out the cut helps from getting glue where you don't want it.
Now you can glue the under side.
Bottom after glued.
I use a kabob stick to drill out the spot I want the eyes, if you use regular stick on eyes this is not needed. The plastic eyes have post that go in the holes.
I make a few thick lines on top of the foam and use a rag to fade it down the sides.
Color it however you want.
Set the eyes for the 3/8ths size foam you've got to trim the post so they'll fit tight against the foam. I like to start the eyes and then place glue on the post and backside of the eyes.
Squeeze the eyes against the foam for a minute and you done.
